This is Aware’s annual largest fundraiser and lasts for 3 days each year. Our volunteers sell packs of daisy bulbs or a daisy pin in local supermarkets and shopping centres around the country that have given us permission to collect. Each item costs €3, with 100% of the proceeds going to Aware.
When?
Mid-September each year: this year’s dates are Thursday 16th - Saturday 18th September.
Who can help?
We need thousands of volunteers across the country to help with this event. You can help by: organising a rota of volunteers in your local area for one, two or three days; or by volunteering to collect for two hours or more on any or all of the days.
How do I volunteer?
Email fundraising@aware.ie now for more information. Give us your name, local area (or other convenient area where you can collect) and a contact telephone number. Please be specific when mentioning area names, e.g. Castlebar (Co Mayo), Blackrock (Co Dublin) or Dublin 17.
Can I really make a difference?
Your contribution to Daisy Days is essential – we simply can't do it without volunteers like you. Depending on the area, one volunteer can raise about €100-200 per hour and all of this goes directly to the work of Aware. We need you!
