Daisy Days
Volunteers required to sell packs of daisy bulbs in their local area for Aware’s single biggest fundraising event.
Commitment: Daisy Days takes place on September 16, 17 & 18 this year. Minimum commitment is two hours on at least one of the days.
Fundraising events
Aware depends on fundraising events and donations from the public for 80% of its budget each year. Examples of fundraising events organised by Aware each year include the Aware 10K Christmas Fun Run in the Phoenix Park and the St. Patrick’s Day Harbour to Harbour Walk. We always require volunteers to help with registration, stewarding and other duties at such events.
Commitment: Depends on the event, but usually a couple of hours on the day of the event.
