Helpline Application Form

To volunteer on our Dublin-based telephone helpline service, please apply to: Helpline Manager, Aware, 72 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2, with all of the following:

(1) a completed application form (below)
(2) a completed Garda vetting form (below).

Important Notes
* All volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.
* At least one written reference will be required as part of your application. You may either include this with your application or bring it to your interview.
* Because of the investment required to train new volunteers, we require an initial commitment of at least one year.
* Each volunteer is asked to cover at least one three-hour shift every week. The helpline is based in our head office in Leeson St, Dublin 2.
* Due to the potential for conflicts of interest to arise, practising therapists and counsellors are not eligible to volunteer on the helpline.
* Please make sure that your application is complete with all the necessary documents (see above).
