When can I call the Aware Helpline?

The Aware Helpline is available on loCall 1890 303 302 seven days a week (Mon-Wed: 10am-10pm; Thurs-Sun 10am-1am).

Please remember that the helpline can be busy and some calls can last quite a while, so if you're trying to get through, please bear with us and don't give up. And don't forget, we also offer depression support by email with a response guaranteed within one working day if your query is less urgent. Just like calls to the helpline, emails are treated in the strictest confidence.

Will my call be confidential?
All calls are treated with strict confidentiality. All calls are anonymous. No one will ever be told that you have contacted us, and no third parties will be contacted.

How much does it cost to call the Aware helpline?
Calls to the helpline are charged at local rate from any landline in Ireland. So if you are calling from an Irish landline, calls cost approximately 5c per minute. Rates from mobile phones will vary depending on your operator and price plan. (If you are living outside Ireland and wish to access the Aware Helpline you can call +353 1 6766 166.)
