Connemara Cycle 2009 (from Kieran Stafford)

If you fancy a bike ride for a very good cause in one of Ireland's most pleasant spots (and who wouldn't?), the Aware Connemara Cycle 2010 will take place this Saturday, 24th April. Starting from Maam Cross at 11am, you can choose between a 30-mile and a 50-mile looped route, depending on your levels of fitness and optimism.

Some 100 cyclists took part last year and a great time was had by all (you can read Kieran's account of the Aware Connemara Cycle 2009 here). To get involved this year, simply email cycleaware@gmail.com

Hi Philip,

To register, just email the local organisers (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)). They’ll then give you all the information you need.

Thanks for your interest and best of luck with the cycle!
