Boxing fundraiser in Gorey
After raising more than €5,000 for Aware last year, Niall 'Basil' Kennedy is organising another boxing exhibition in aid of Aware.
This year's venue is the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey and the line-up is every bit as good as last year's, with guest appearances from Olympic gold medallist Michael Carruth, world champion Katy Taylor and recent European Super Bantamweight champion Willie 'Big Bang' Casey. A Gorey/Guest combined selection will take on an Irish selection, with the likes of Niall Murray, John Murray, Shane Cox and Basil himself featuring.
The event takes place this Saturday, 15 January at 7.30pm. Entrance costs €10 per adult and €5 per child. Hope you can make it for what should be a great night.
I am really happy that they are having a boxing fundraiser in Gorey. I think that they would be able to help a lot of boxer enthusiast. I am really excited to help them achieve their goal in the fundraising.
