Christmas 10k postponed
We're sorry to say that the continued icy conditions have forced us to postpone the Aware Christmas 10k until January.
We gave the run every chance to go ahead but safety has to come before convenience and it would not have been safe to continue this Saturday. Several of you have seen the condition of the route in the Phoenix Park in the last week and I'm sure you'll agree that this is the only decision we could make.
The race has been rescheduled for Saturday 15 January 2011. Please note that collection of race numbers will proceed as scheduled this week. Race numbers can be collected from 72 Lower Leeson St, Dublin 2, tonight, tomorrow and on Friday 10th until 8pm each evening.

I am running this in a Mankini. I bet the people running the Christmas 10k in a Santa suit will feel real silly.
I want to partake this sat in the run./ walk race in Phoenix Park how do I enter . For myself and 2 children (Age 13 and 11 1/2)
Mr Mankini… will be so suitabily dressed as 5 mins into da race..he will be so warm…Way to go Mankini

It’s a run more than a walk really but we’re accepting late registrations on the morning of the race between 7.30am and 9.15am. More details on the Christmas 10k page.
