After 6 weeks of training, messages of support from famous faces and - most importantly - the enthusiasm of our runners, the big day is almost here.

This Saturday, 10 December, the Aware Christmas 5 Mile Run takes place in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. The chip-timed, AAI-sanctioned race starts at 10am, with late registration available from 7.15am on the morning of the run. So if you haven't registered yet, there's still time - just follow the link for details on how to sign up on the day.

In the meantime, here are our experts' final top tips to get the most out of yourself on the day. A huge thank you again to Karl Henry of RTE's Operation Transformation and Frank Greally, editor of Irish Runner magazine, for sharing their knowledge and encouragement for this year's event. We appreciate the support!
