Thank you to our Christmas runners!

To everyone who took part in today's Aware Christmas 5 Mile Run, to everyone who volunteered to steward at the event and to everyone who sponsored someone or gave of their time in any other way: THANK YOU ALL. About 1900 people took part in all and we really appreciate the support.

Results will be published in the Monday edition of the Irish Independent, our event sponsor, and here on our website afterwards.

By getting involved, you're helping us to provide support and information services to thousands of people all over Ireland who experience depression and related illnesses, plus their families and loved ones. Our work also includes public information and education campaigns, including a secondary school 'Beat the Blues' programme provided free of charge.

Online sponsorship through the MyCharity.ie website will remain open for a few days so if you haven't yet sponsored someone who took part, there's still time. Alternatively, you can donate online to support our work directly.
