‘Tis the season…

Christmas starts to loom large everywhere around this time of year and things are no different here at Aware.

As usual we're selling charity Christmas cards through our online store but this year, students from Cistercian College in Roscrea have also put together a CD of Christmas Classics to support our work. Recorded by a student choir and the school orchestra, Christmas songs featured include O Holy Night, Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil and Adeste Fideles, as well as modern classics like Let It Snow and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The disc was a mini-business project for Aaron McDermott, Carl O'Dowd, Matthew Kavanagh and Richard Hughes, and a donation will be made to Aware for each CD sold. A huge thank you to all involved.
