Earlier this month, 16 well-known Irish personalities travelled to the Irish Countrywomen's Association headquarters in Termonfeckin, Co. Louth to participate in the challenge of Charity ICA Bootcamp.
Former Munster and Ireland prop forward Peter Clohessy has chosen to represent Aware and made it through to this week's finals. There he's battling it out with Kamal Ibrahim, Jessica Kuerten and Dave Young, with all the action broadcast live on RTE One.
What can you do?
1. VOTE. Peter needs your support to win and every vote also doubles as a 48c donation to Aware. Not much on its own but they all add up!
To support Peter and Aware, just text ICA4 to 53125. Texts cost 60c each and you can vote any time during the final live show on Saturday (RTE One, 9.30pm – 11pm).
2. ATTEND. We have a number of seats at the recording and would love you to come along and help cheer Peter on. If you'd like to be in the audience for the live final on Saturday 20 August, please email fundraising@aware.ie or call us on 01-6617211. Filming takes place in An Grianán, Termonfeckin, Co. Louth.
3. TUNE IN. If you can't make it along in person, tune in and watch Peter learning essential domestic skills under the watchful eyes of the ICA mentors. The final show will be broadcast live on RTE One at 9.30pm on Saturday 20 August.
Best of luck to Peter and thanks to everyone who can give him some support.
