With just over a week to go until Daisy Days 2011, we're busy with the final preparations. We're hoping this can be the biggest Daisy Days campaign yet, providing much-needed funds to support our work.
With boxes of daisy chains stacked up and ready for delivery to our volunteers, it's an exciting time. Our first collection has already taken place too and a huge thank-you to the staff at IBM who got the ball rolling today with a collection in Dublin city centre. Other early events include a clothes swop shop that took place recently and a coffee morning in Curves, Station Rd, Newcastle West, Limerick from 8.30am next Tuesday, 13 September. We'll have more news soon of some of the other exciting events planned, including bands, magicians and face-painting!
And remember - if you haven't already volunteered to sell daisy chains or run an event of your own, it's not too late to help us to defeat depression. To get involved, just fill out our online form, email daisydays@aware.ie or call Jeremy on 01-6617211.
I would like to get my students involved in fundraising for aware this year. Any resource packs would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Rebecca,
That’s great - I’ve copied your message on to the organising team, who’ll be in touch today.
Thanks for getting involved!
