Desperate Farmwives charity calendar

We always love seeing unusual fundraising ideas and that's exactly what Offaly Macra na Feirme have come up with this Christmas.

They've put together a 'Desperate Farmwives' charity calendar in aid of Aware and GROW, bringing a little bit of Wisteria Lane to Clara and Tullamore as shown above. The calendar also featured on Craig Doyle's show The Social on RTE 2 recently, now available via the RTE Player.

Calendars cost €10 each and are available through Kate Ryan (086-0715957), Claire Walsh (086-8895526) and desperatefarmwives@gmail.com. They will also be on sale at the Bridge Centre, Tullamore on 8 December (11am to 2pm).

I think this is a great idea as I am a member of Grow and Aware seems to get more publicity and is more well known.  I will phone Kate during to see how I can get the calendarAWARE.  Keep up the good work.
