GAA High Kick competition
Calling all place-kickers!
Trim Haymaking Festival is hosting the inaugural All-Ireland Cic Ard Competition on Sunday 19th June in the Porchfields, Trim.
Entry costs €5 and the competition - open to footballers and rugby players, whether male or female - is being run to raise money to support our work. Meath football legend Graham Geraghty is pictured above having a go and you'll be able to compete with a host of county and club footballers and rugby players on the day. "Kick off" is 1.30pm in the Porchfields with the final for the title of Cic Ard na hÉireann taking place at 3pm. As you can see from the comments below, there will also be a number of Rose of Tralee hopefuls attending.
Winners in both the GAA and rubgy cetegories will each receive a specially commissioned unique Tara Steel trophy together with €1,000 worth of jerseys/sports equipment for their nominated clubs.
