The Fifth Annual Aware Connemara Cycle will take place on Saturday, April 21st, commencing from Peacockes Hotel in Maam Cross.

Cyclists of all abilities are once again invited to participate in the Cycle, which raised over €14,000 for Aware in 2011. This year’s event will include a 100 mile option as well as 50 and 30 mile options. There is a minimum donation of €50 required per cyclist but we ask that you consider raising extra sponsorship to help us achieve the overall goal of €18,000 for 2012.

The cycle starts from Peacockes Hotel in Maam Cross, where registration will be open from 9.00am. The 100 mile cycle will start at 10.00am while the 30 and 50 mile cyclists will set-off at 11.00am. Ireland West Cycling are sponsoring the event and they will be providing 40 bicycles for hire at a fee of €20 per person, with all fees going towards Aware's battle to defeat depression.

To get your sponsorship card, contact Breda on 087 2377608 or email cycleaware@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you on April 21st!
