The next instalment of our 2011 Dublin lecture series will be a talk from Deirdre McSwiney. Deirdre is the Chief Sleep Technologist at the Mater Private Hospital and will deal with the very relevant subject of Sleep and How to Manage It. This is a topic that should be of interest and use to many affected directly and indirectly by depression.
(Update: notes from this lecture are now available to download or view online in our Archived Lectures section.)
The talk will place on Wednesday 11 May 2011 at 7.30pm. Venue is the Swift Lecture Theatre, St. Patrick's Hospital, James' St, Dublin 8 (map to St. Patrick's Hospital) and we recommend that you arrive 10 or 15 minutes early to find a seat in good time.
Entry is free, with no booking required. Hope you can make it.
Hi
I’m a trainee psychotherapist, myself and some colleagues would be interested in attending this lecture. Can you please advise if this is open to everyone.
Many thanks
Hi Jennifer,
Yes, entry is completely free and is open to anyone. No booking is required but you should make sure to arrive 10 or 15 minutes in advance to ensure a seat.
Hope you can make it.
Hi, I’d love to know if there are any other talks on sleep coming up. Thanks v much!
Hi Caroline - sleep isn’t yet planned as a topic for any of our other lectures this year. However, we hope to make notes from Deirdre’s talk available on the site soon so keep an eye out for the link to that being posted…
Just an update to say that the notes from this lecture are now available to view and download in our Archived Lectures section:
