Walk4Aware - Thank You
While it's not too late to get involved with Walk4Aware, we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the various walks that took place last Sunday, May 9th. A lot of people were out enjoying the good weather in aid of Aware and we appreciate all of their efforts, especially those of the organisers.
Don't worry, though - it's not all done just yet. We still have a number of walks to take place over the coming months, in Kilkenny City, Boherquill, Oakvale Woods Strand and Carrigaline. The Festive Fillies will also be walking in the Blackstairs mountain area on Saturday May 29th. A number of people are already raising funds for Aware in this way and it looks like being a great event, with a choice of walks to suit all levels. Thanks to everyone who took part in the Phoenix Park walk for AWARE last Sunday 9th May. The weather was glorious and thanks to all the people who couldn’t make the walk but still donated to AWARE. It was much appreciated. Martina Kealy
