Abrivia Recruitment has today announced its campaign to highlight the importance of positive mental attitude in the recruitment industry, at the launch of it’s first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility partnership with Aware. The team from Abrivia was joined in Dublin City Centre by Aware ambassador and Dublin All-Star Bernard Brogan to kick-off the collaboration.
Speaking at the launch Donal O’Brien, CEO of Abrivia Recruitment explained why this partnership has the potential to make a significant difference within the recruitment industry:
“It is widely acknowledged that one of the most stressful things that you will do in life is change job. Each day our team at Abrivia supports people by simplifying and streamlining the recruitment process for both candidates and clients. Our aim is to make things easier for people and to help them through each stage of the recruitment process, whether they get the job or not. When someone commits themselves to the process of looking for a new job, it isn’t just about getting the position – there’s a lot of learning opportunities along the way, and we want to help people approach the process positively. We are thrilled to work with Aware, a charity that has such relevance to our industry and which mirrors our own corporate values.”
As part of the partnership Aware and Abrivia will feature a number of collaborative blogs focusing on positive mental health throughout the job hunters journey and these will be distributed to Abrivia’s extensive database of clients and candidates. Abrivia’s own employees will participate in Aware’s Wellness@Work programme which focuses on coping and resilience. Also Aware’s programmes and services will be promoted actively throughout Abrivia’s own communications and marketing channels.
Drew Flood, Business Development Executive with Aware welcomed the new partnership:
“It is fantastic to see a company like Abrivia really engaging with a charity that is so aligned with its own business; it makes sense that during the recruitment process, resilience and a positive mental attitude is encouraged and promoted. We’re also very impressed that Abrivia now has two targets in business: their Revenue target for the year, and their total CSR target for Aware. They aim to raise over €10,000 for Aware this year and with the energy and commitment they have shown so far, we wouldn’t be surprised if they surpass that!”
