” … immense, it allowed me to see things from a different perspective.”

“I will treasure the booklets as these will always be with me to remind me of all I have learned and how valuable this time was to me and my mental health.”

“I am much better now than I was six weeks ago and the only thing different has been coming to this programme.”

Hi Ciara, you can apply for the two places at this link: https://www.aware.ie/life-skills-group-programme/ Just press the ‘Apply Now’ button and select the Ballyfermot programme from the list. Just remember that if you qualify for the reduced refundable booking fee of €10 (for students, OAPS, unemployed), select the ‘exception’ ticket.

      Hope you enjoy the programme.

Hi I have tried what you have suggested and there is no option for Ballyfermot.

Hi Ciara, due to lack of interest and sign-up we had to cancel the Ballyfermot programme late last week. We’ll have details of our next phase of programmes on the website in March.

A chara. Can you give more details about the Cabinteely Venue please. Where exactly is it, a church, school etc? Also, is there car parking, free or pay parking? Do we as a group participate, or just sit back and listen? Thanks a million :)

Hello Lou, the venue is the Family Life Centre, at the Rear of St Bridgid’s Church, Cabinteely, Dublin 18 in the car park of St Bridgid’s Church. If you wish to drive, it would be best to contact the church directly to see if there is free or paid parking available in their car park or whether there is anything going on which might impact parking availability. There is some group participation but no personal disclosure. The trainer introduces the topic for the evening and there are opportunities for the group to input at various stages. Further information and a short video about the programme are available here: https://www.aware.ie/life-skills-group-programme/ Hope you enjoy the programme!
