JobBridge Internship: Events & Fundraising Administrative Assistant

Internship Role Description: As an intern you will gain practical experience in supporting administrative tasks required to organize fundraising events. You will receive formal and informal training in all areas associated with fundraising events and administration:

  • event planning
  • logistics
  • event strategy
  • managing spreadsheets
  • contacting suppliers and volunteers
  • on-site event experience

On completion of the six month internship you will have gained further skills in communications, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), event planning and logistics, administration and team collaboration. You will also have the opportunity  to learn about the  field of mental health and how the events and fundraising function works within a leading charity in the mental health sector.

Skills required of applicants:

  • Team player
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to knowledge share.
