Can you help?

We need volunteers to help sell our #shareasmile cookies on the street on Friday, October 9th in Dublin, Cork and Galway. Funds raised from our National Appeal Day 2015 will help Aware deliver the Beat the Blues school programme to over 30,000 senior-cycle students. More than 18,500 Secondary School Students Participate in AwareÕs New-Look Positive Mental Health Programme

About Aware’s  National Appeal Day, Friday 9th October

Aware provides a free 70-minute positive mental health programme, Beat the Blues to over 30,000 senior-level secondary school students aged between 15 – 18 years of age nationwide each year. The programme aims to educate young people about mental health and the importance of looking after it; how to deal with concerns in life and how to build resilience: we have had very positive feedback from students and teachers about the programme.

Beat the Blues is available free of charge to every secondary school in Ireland. Our National Appeal will aim to raise enough funds to ensure that we can continue to deliver this important programme for the coming year.

To support Aware’s National Appeal 2015 please volunteer your time to sell cookies or donate by buying our #shareasmile cookies on October 9th
