All programmes are free of charge, however both of the group programmes do have a refundable booking fee, further information can be found about each programme below. Please note all programmes are only available to those aged at least 18 years of age.
Life Skills Group
Based on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), the Life Skills programmes are designed to help people learn more about how we think and how this can influence our actions in helpful or unhelpful ways.
The programme is delivered over the course of six weeks in 90 minute evening sessions. Each group consists of approximately 25 people.
Life Skills Online
Based on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), the Life Skills programmes are designed to help participants learn more about how we think and how this can influence our actions in helpful or unhelpful ways.
The Life Skills Online Programme is comprised of eight modules which you can work through online in your own time from the comfort of your own home. You benefit from the support of an Aware trained volunteer supporter, who you can choose to share progress with. The supporter is similar to a personal trainer, encouraging you as you work through the programme.
Relatives & Friends Programme
The Relatives & Friends Programme is a psycho-educational programme designed specifically for those supporting a loved one experiencing depression or bipolar disorder.
The programme is delivered over the course of four weeks, aims to provide helpful information about depression and bipolar disorder, provide practical skills and address the challenges faced each day when supporting a loved one.
