Today on World Bipolar Disorder, Rick Rossiter, Sinead Moriarty and Dr Declan Lyons, consultant psychiatrist at St Patrick’s Mental Health Services and member of Aware's Clinical Committee,

Rick and Sinead are both talk about their own personal experience and journey with bipolar disorder, how they came to be diagnosed and the impact it has had on their lives, as well as how they make sure to look after themselves. Rick says "I know how to weather the storm now." 

While Dr Lyons speaks from his clinical experience of the condition, how we come to find a diagnosis and working towards managing the condition.

Empowering people to look after their mental health is an integral part of our work. Aware offer a number of free services for anyone who experiences bipolar disorder as well as their loved ones.
