October Lecture Wed. 8th Oct. at 7.30pm

Dr. Derek Richards, Director of Clinical Research & Innovation, SilverCloud Health will present, ‘Treating Depression with Life Skills Online’ on Wednesday, October 8th at 7.30pm.

Dr. Richards’ lecture will refer to results from the Randomised Controlled Trial which took place on the Life Skills Online service earlier this year. The preliminary results are very encouraging for Aware and most especially for service-users. Dr. Derek Richard, Director of Clinical Research & Innovation at SilverCloud Health will present some of the key findings from the RCT on the evening and Dr. Claire Hayes will Chair.

Aware Lectures take place the second Wednesday of every month at the Lecture Theatre, Swift Centre, St. Patrick’s Hospital, James’s St., Dublin 8.

Lectures start at 7.30pm however we advise that you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you are seated comfortably. Paid parking is available in the St. Patrick’s Hospital car park (entrance via Steeven’s Lane); alternatively, take the Luas (red line) to Heuston Station and walk (map to St. Patrick’s Hospital).

      Hi Paul, Aware lectures are free to attend and open to all members of the public. We also record the lectures so you can watch back the October lecture online later this month.
