This Thursday, October 20th & Friday October 21st Aware volunteers nationwide will support our annual #NationalAppealDays. You will find our volunteers bag packing in over 60 Tesco stores across the country. Local school students will support this initiative during the day and adult volunteers will be active in Tesco stores during the evening. To support this campaign pop into your nearest Tesco and donate.
You will also find Aware volunteers exchanging Cadbury’s Boost Bars for donations of €2 in Dublin City Centre locations and in additional limited locations such as Aware charity partner companies. Aware would like to thank Cadbury Ireland for donating 5000 Boost Bars to Aware to exchange for donations received over our National Appeal Days.
85% of all Aware’s income comes from public donations and corporate fundraising. We rely on donations received over our #NationalAppealDays campaign to be able to continue to deliver vital services and education programmes free-of-charge to teenagers (aged 15-18) and adults nationwide.
To learn more about the impact of your donation please view our 2015 services reach.
Watch our 3 minute video and view what teenagers have to say about Aware’s secondary school programmes for students aged 15-18.
