On November 5th, Aware’s Wellness@Work programme was announced winner of the Patient Organisation Project of the Year Award at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2015. The Wellness@Work programme was recognised for its emphasis on highlighting the important link between mental health and the workplace, and its focus on helping employees develop coping skills and resilience.

The Irish Healthcare Awards was established in 2002 by the Irish Medical Times and sees an extensive variety of entries from across a diverse range of healthcare areas. 2015 saw a 30% increase in the number of entries received.

Aware’s Wellness@Work programmes have so far been delivered to 3,500 employees nationwide. The programme is kindly supported by Lundbeck Ireland.
