Why do we need your help?
It costs Aware circa €2.5m to deliver our range of services each year. We receive limited funding from the State, so rely heavily on the support of the public and our corporate partners in order to raise these funds. The chart displays the % source of donations from the year ending 2024.

Tax efficient giving
If you’ve donated €250 or more in a year to Aware, your support could be worth even more – at no extra cost to you.
Through the Government’s Charitable Donation Scheme, Aware can claim up to 44.9% in tax back on your donation. This means a donation of €250 could be worth over €360 to Aware, helping us reach more people with vital mental health support.

This additional funding helps Aware to deliver free mental health support services nationwide.
How it works
If you donate €250 or more in a year (this can be one donation or multiple donations combined) and pay tax in Ireland, whether through PAYE or self-assessment, Aware can reclaim tax on your donation from Revenue at no cost to you.
All you need to do is complete a short Enduring Certificate (formerly CHY3), and we will take care of the rest.
It only takes a few minutes
Completing the form is quick and secure, and it can cover multiple years of donations.
Once completed, we submit the claim to Revenue and the additional funding comes directly to Aware, increasing the impact of your original donation.
