Join the 19th annual Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk on St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, 17th March 2026

Are you looking for something different to do this St Patrick’s Day? Why not take steps for mental health!

Join us at the 19th annual Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk (proudly supported by Dublin Port) on St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 17th March 2026. An official event of St Patrick’s Festival, the walk welcomed over 3,000 enthusiastic participants last year, and we’re hoping to make 2026 even bigger, with even more people taking on the 26km route. Walkers can start from either Howth Harbour or Dún Laoghaire Harbour and finish at the opposite harbour. You can choose which harbour you start or finish at and don’t worry, you can change your starting point on the day!

The walk is suitable for most fitness levels, and there’s no pressure to complete the full distance – you decide what works best for you. Enjoy stunning views of Dublin Bay along the route, and be sure to stop by the Halfway Hooley at our temporary new location in EastPoint Business Park for refreshments and entertainment. We’ve moved the Hooley this year due to development works in Dublin Port.

All participants will receive an event t-shirt which can be collected on the day at the start of the walk. If you have taken part before and still have your t-shirt, we would encourage you to wear it this year too.

Registration is now open. Adult tickets are €27 and child tickets are €10.

The Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk is a flagship fundraising event for Aware, the national charity supporting people impacted by depression, bipolar, and anxiety. Aware directly supports up to 40,000 people each year via our free support and education services.

We can’t do this without your help! Your participation or donation will help raise vital funds to ensure the organisation can continue to deliver its free support, education and information services to individuals and communities nationwide.

Thank you for your support.
