World Mental Health Day 2017

World Mental Health Day 2017

Tuesday 10th October 2017 marks World Mental Health Day. A day aimed at reflecting on how we look after our own mental health.

Throughout the week Aware will be sharing blogs from people with personal experiences of depression, starting a conversation on social media about mental health and we’ll be sign-posting our free support services.

We’re aiming to highlight how important it is to talk, to open up and seek support.

It is our vision that people affected by stress, depression, bipolar and mood disorders are understood, supported, free from stigma, and are encouraged to access appropriate therapies.

Make sure to check back to the Aware website and keep an eye our social media channels to join the conversation – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Linkedin.
